Oman Qatar Insurance Company SAOC, (OQIC), a premier insurer and subsidiary of Qatar Insurance Group yesterday announced the opening of a new branch at Salalah’s leading Central Market area – Business district. The timings for the newly opened branch are from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm between Sunday to Thursday.

The new full-service one stop branch will now offer a full range of personal insurance products (car insurance, home insurance, and travel insurance) to existing and prospective new customers residing in the Central Market area of Salalah. In addition, the new branch would also enhance OQIC’s service levels in the areas of motor claims surveys, claims processing and claims settlement.

The branch was inaugurated by Mr. Abdul Qadar bin Ahmed Al Haddad – Acting Head of Dhofar Municipality in the presence of Senior Deputy Group President & CEO – QIC Group Mr. Ali Al Fadala, Acting CEO of OQIC, Mr. Navin Kumar and senior OQIC staff.

During the inauguration, Mr. Abdul Qadar bin Ahmed Al Haddad remarked, “I would like to congratulate OQIC on the successful opening of its branch. Not only would the new branch facilitate employment and boost the local economy, but would also provide distinct service benefits to its customers residing in this strategic area.”

Mr. Ali Al Fadala stated, “It is a moment of great pride to have Mr. Abdul Qadar bin Ahmed Al Haddad join us for the inauguration of the new branch. Not only does the new branch opening match with our objective of reaching out to customers, but it also serves as proof of the strong customer confidence and support OQIC enjoys in the Sultanate.”

He added, “Bringing convenience to customers has always been a priority for us. Going forward, we will continue to revolutionize our product offerings and services while bearing in mind the unique priorities of our customers. OQIC currently has 3 others branches in Oman – one in CBD, Al Khoudh and Oman Avenues Mall.
